charges in connection with saturday's deadly crash that took three lives in daily city. 28-year-old dennis macedo slammed his car into another vehicle on a residential street just west of interstate 280. police say he was racing away from another hit-and-run crash involving a parked car when deadly crash happened. three family members in that other car were killed. a 50-year-old woman, her adult son and her teenage son. the adult son's girlfriend was also in the car and remains hospitalized tonight. detectives are still trying to determine if alcohol or drugs were a factor. >>> tonight, police are investigating the city's third homicide in a week. officers found a man in the driveway of a home with a gunshot wound to the chest around 4:30 in the morning. he died. they have not identified him yet, but they say the man is about 30 years old, looks familiar to police. the neighbors say this neighborhood has become unsafe in recent years. it is san jose's ninth homicide of 2013. so far, no suspects in the case. >> a downtown news conference helped kick off the first day of san jose's $10 an ho
